Every month in February they have a huge carnival every weekend. They have interesting and colorful costumes the costumes show what part of Dominican Republic they are from and the regions. During this big celebration they have contest that involve lots of money and pride and the judges chose the best costume out of all the people. There are some scary costumes i think. There is this devil mask and it is so scary and he walks with a lamp in his hand.

Bizcocho Dominicano is there national cake and is very much like pound cake. It is not used for anything special it is made to eat. It can have fillings that fit the mood. Some of the fillings are strawberries, pineapples, oranges and peaches. That is like the only difference is betweenpound cake and this cake there are fillings or can be.
